I like the idea of your character, but, if I'm completely honest, I don't think you're thinking interestingly enough about the challenge of the brief; you've got something as evocative and rich as voodoo and basically you depict and armchair and a table!? If this project was entitled 'The Sitting Room of the Voodoo Prince' you might be onto something! Seriously, though, I do want you to think a bit more creatively/cinematically/imaginatively about this world of yours. In truth, I'm liking the throne, with its accretion of dolls, though even 'throne' is a bit conventional in terms of the 'prince' part of your challenge. I'm going to challenge you to think more expansively about the possibilities of your two words - about the world of this prince. I'd like to see you move beyond the 'domestic' scale of your featured thumbnail. One such approach might come from something as simple as taking a voodoo symbol and using it as a floor plan for a more dynamic interior space. Another approach is simply to dig more deeply into your research so as to find that quirky detail that will give your secret lair its special quality - and maybe a more original hero prop? In simple terms, I want to see a bit more attack and some conspicuously original thinking. Onwards!
